300 Hour Yoga Teacher Training Course and Curriculum

Mantra Chant/Prayer: 10 hours

Every morning starts with mantra chanting or singing prayers.

Philosophy: 35 hours

Yoga philosophies and traditional texts such as the Yoga Sutras and Hatha Yoga Pradipika will be studied. You will learn about yoga and its origins and history.

Practice: 110 hours

You will practice and learn how to teach different asanas, pranayamas, kriyas, chanting, mantras, mudras, meditation, and other traditional yoga techniques.

Teaching Methodology: 30 hours

It includes communication skills, teaching styles, teachers’ qualities, the learning process of the student, understanding group dynamics, class preparation, and other skills that are essential to address various group settings.

Anatomy and Physiology: 40 hours

This will include human physical anatomy and physiology as well as energy anatomy and physiology. You will study anatomy and physiology and their application to yoga practice.

Yogic diet, lifestyle, and ethics: 25hours

You will study the yogic lifestyle, such as the principle of non-violence (ahimsa), the concepts of dharma and karma, and the ethics of yoga teachers. You will be introduced to Sattvic meals and their importance for detoxifying your body.

Practicum: 20 hours

The 20-hour practicum will help you become a successful yoga instructor all around the world with the art of sequencing and creativity in the class. Every trainee will practice as the lead yoga teacher, observe others,  and give and receive feedback.

Q&A Discussions: 15 hours

These sessions will include discussion of overall training, trainees’ reports on their experiences, and other training-related questions.

Triyoga: Jnana, Bhakti, and Karma: 15 hours

You will explore the triyoga (three yogas) with the principle of yogic science. Karma Yoga, or the Path of Action (karma), Bhakti Yoga, or the Path of Devotion (bhakti), and Jnana Yoga, or the Path of Knowledge (Gyan), are Triyoga.

300 hour Yoga Teacher Training Course Fee

The complete cost of the 300 hour yoga teacher training is $1750. An advance deposit of $300 should be made; it is non-refundable. The balance of your payment will be payable on orientation day here in Nepal.

Course duration: 5 weeks (29 days)

There will be up to 14 students in each course, depending on the quality of the class.

The course fee includes:

  • Accommodation
  • Unlimited herbal tea.
  • Three vegetarian or vegan meals—breakfast, lunch, and dinner—in a day
    Fruits, bread, porridge, vegetables, and other seasonal foods for breakfast
    (Nepali, Indian, or Chinese cuisine for lunch and dinner)
  • Shatkarma kit (cleaning kit)
  • Yoga text book and practice copy
  • Shared accommodation for 28 nights
  • Ayurvedic massage (two)
  • Two days of hiking
  • 13% VAT and 10% service charge
  • Yoga Alliance certificate

*Accommodation is fully equipped with modern amenities in classic looks. Rooms include two wide-base single beds. Bathrooms are equipped with modern facilities. During the course period, all rooms will be provided on a sharing basis. As per request, a single room can be provided with extra charges.

Cost Excludes:

  • Pick-up and drop-off from or to the airport
