In the felicitation ceremony, the chief guest was Nepali Acting Ambassador to the US Rishi Ram Ghimire, and the special guest was Mr. Premaraja Mahat, Consul General of the Government of Nepal to the US.
On that occasion, Pvt. Professor Mr. Hari Dhimire, Somnath Dhimire, ANA Nepali Literature Foundation North America President Basant Shrestha, Poet Purushottam Subedi, and Krishna Dharavasile Prakash, a famous personality of the Nepali narrative genre, spoke in the context of Dr. Basudev Tripathi’s personality and work. basudev tripathi was given the title of Maharaja of Nepali literature.
Novelist Homanath Subedi’s presidency and acclaimed personality Prof. Dr. Basudev Tripathi was the chief guest in the program of the second session. The release of Kalpana Satyal’s Baishka Rukh poetry collection and the presentation of the work were commented on by associate professor Somnath Dhimire.
In that program, competitive children and adults were also included, and the winners of the competitive poetry conference were awarded to all poets. The Kavi Chetkanth Chapagai Memorial Award was distributed along with a cash certificate.
