Spider-Man: Crossing the Multiverse is on its way to making a huge box office hit by telling us a new story of Miles Morales, the wall-crawler of the House of Ideas, while he navigates the different realities and meets new Spider-Man of diverse origin. But Kevin Feige and Marvel Studios’ plans for live action are very ambitious.

Following No Way Home, Feige and Sony confirmed that Spider-Man 4 with Tom Holland was a reality and would be coming sooner rather than later. However, there is news: Holland will not put on the suit of the arachnid soon.

Spider-Man 4 will be a reality, but the movie will take a long time to arrive.

Producer Amy Pascal has revealed to outlets like Variety that there are many projects in development related to Spider-Man, such as a live-action film by Miles Morales and other spinoffs. However, for many spectators and fans, the adaptation that Tom Holland embodies is the most anticipated. The Cherry actor will return to the big screen once again as friend and neighbor Spider-Man, continuing the events of No Way Home, one of the highest-grossing films of all time. But when will he arrive?

Well, Pascal revealed that it will take time to arrive. The Hollywood writers’ strike, which is rocking the television and film industries, has put the project on hold. “Are we going to make another movie? Of course we do,” he explained to the aforementioned American media. “We’re in the works, but the writers’ strike… no one is working during the strike. We’re all being supporters, and when they agree, we’ll start.“

Although Sony continues to build its universe of Marvel characters with different films based on villains and supporting Spider-Man, such as Kraven the Hunter and Madame Web,  we must add adjustments to some of the spinoffs, such as El Muerto with Bad Bunny. Spider-Man: Crossing the Multiverse hits theaters tomorrow, June 2. And yes, there is a third part in development.
