Kathmandu. Kathmandu University has awarded a fellowship to Balendra Shah (Balen ), the head of Kathmandu Metropolitan City, to pursue a PhD in Engineering.

In a post on social media on Saturday, Chief Balen Shah informed the public that Kathmandu University has given him a fellowship for a Ph.D.

Shah mentioned that in the next three years, he will be a doctor before his name. His title for his PhD is ‘Neva to promote tourism and economy: conservation of heritage structures’.

Shah also shared a screenshot of the email he received from the KU representative.
